What does it treat?
Exfoliation, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sunspots, and uneven skin texture.
Using varied diamond tips, we cover the full scope of aesthetic options, including treatments for thin, sensitive skin, rough skin zones, and hard-to-reach areas.
What does the treatment feel like? Does it hurt?
Not at all. While you may feel a slight tugging on your skin, the treatment is non-invasive, virtually painless, and requires no downtime. You will enjoy a comfortable and quiet treatment.
How long does a treatment session last?
Treatment time varies depending on face and body areas and skin condition. You can expect to complete a full facial in 10 – 15 minutes on average. Rough skin zones and larger body areas may last a bit longer.
When will I see results?
Results can be seen and felt after the very first treatment with an improvement in skin texture and appearance. An overall, gradual improvement can be expected as the treatment course progresses.
How is this treatment performed?
A cleansing toner is applied to the skin to remove excess oils for better application and penetration. A self-contained wand is manually passed over the skin in areas of damage or all over the face, which is usually the case. The procedure lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, depending upon the ‘depth’ or ‘strength’ of the peel. Afterward, a cotton ball saturated with a soothing toner is passed over the face then a re-hydrating cream and sunblock are applied.
What should I expect after microdermabrasion?
You can expect to feel as if you have a mild sunburn or windburn. Your skin will feel dry and may peel. This is natural and is the purpose of the procedure. You should regularly apply a high-quality moisturizer as well as a high protection sun block. Do not expose your face to sunlight for long periods of time, not even tanning beds. You should not use any exfoliating scrubs or lotions beforehand or afterward for at least 3 days. Your skin will be smoother and the damage will be lessened.
